1. Fit & Sizing

Q1. How do I choose the right size for my sofa?

Measure from arm to arm across the widest point of your sofa.
Then match your width to our stretch-fit size range on each product page.
If your sofa sits between two sizes, choose the larger size.

Q2. Will these covers fit American-style sofas?

Yes. Our covers are designed for standard American sizes including Harvey Norman, IKEA, Bay Leather Republic, Freedom, Amart, and typical apartment lounges.

Q3. Do your sofa covers fit leather sofas?

Yes—but we recommend using the included anti-slip foam sticks.
For leather, our Jacquard fabric provides the best grip.

Q4. Will the covers fit recliners and armchairs?

Yes. We offer covers specifically designed for recliners, tub chairs, and armchairs.

Q5. Do your covers fit L-shape and U-shape sofas?

Yes. Measure each section separately. Our L-shape sets are reversible for both left and right chaise sofas.

Q6. What if my sofa has wide or rounded arms?

Our stretch fabrics mould easily over wide, rolled, and curved arms.
If unsure, send us a photo—we’ll confirm the size for you.

Q7. What fabrics do you use?

We use premium stretch fabrics such as:

  • Polyester + spandex blend

  • Thick Jacquard weave

  • Velvet plush

  • water resistant TPU-coated fabric

Each fabric is chosen for durability, comfort, and suitability for American homes.

Q8. Are the materials safe for children and pets?

Yes, all our fabrics are non-toxic, soft, and free from harmful dyes or coatings.

Q9. Which fabric is best for a busy home?

For families with kids or pets, we recommend Jacquard (durable) or water resistant covers (spill protection).

Q10. Are your covers breathable?

Yes. Even our water resistant covers are designed to allow airflow so your sofa doesn’t trap heat or moisture.


3. Pets & Protection

Q11. Are Decor Cedar covers pet-friendly?

Absolutely. Our covers are designed to withstand everyday pet use.

Q12. Will the cover resist scratches from cats or dogs?

While no fabric is 100% scratch-proof, our Jacquard covers provide the best resistance against claws.

Q13. Does fur stick to the sofa covers?

Minimal. Fur sits on the surface and can be wiped away with a lint roller or damp cloth.

Q14. What if my pet has accidents?

Choose our water resistant covers. They prevent liquids from penetrating your sofa.


4. Outdoor Use

Q15. Can I use your sofa covers outdoors?

Our covers are designed for indoor use.
Outdoor sun, rain, and humidity may shorten fabric lifespan.

Q16. Can I use water resistant covers outdoors?

Only for covered outdoor spaces (patios, pergolas, verandahs).
Avoid direct sun and heavy rain.

Q17. Do you offer outdoor-specific furniture covers?

Currently no, but we are expanding our range.


5. Washing & Care

Q18. Are your sofa covers machine washable?

Yes. Wash cold on a gentle cycle.
Avoid bleach and high heat.

Q19. Can I put my sofa cover in the dryer?

Air drying is recommended.
Low heat in the dryer is acceptable for non-water resistant fabrics only.

Q20. How often should I wash my sofa cover?

Every 2–3 months, or more frequently in homes with pets or children.


6. Orders & Delivery

Q21. Do you ship nationwide?

Yes, we deliver to all states including the United States, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, TAS, ACT, and NT.

Q22. How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery: 6–12 business days
Express shipping: available on select items
Shipping times vary during peak periods.

Q23. Will I receive tracking information?

Yes. Once dispatched, your tracking details are emailed automatically.

Q24. Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

Yes—contact us within 12 hours of placing your order.

We offer 30-day returns on unused, unwashed, original-condition items.

Q29. Can I exchange for a different size?

Yes—simply contact us with your order number and preferred size.

Q30. What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?

We will replace it free of charge.
Just send photos of the issue and your order details.

Q31. Do the covers come with a warranty?

Yes—our covers are backed by a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects.


9. Product Performance & Installation

Q32. Will the cover slip or move?

Not if installed correctly using the included anti-slip foam sticks.

Q33. How do I install the cover?

  1. Stretch over back first

  2. Pull over arms

  3. Smooth over seat

  4. Tuck sticks into gaps

  5. Adjust bottom elastic

Q34. Will the cover fit sofas with removable cushions?

Yes. Keep cushions in place while measuring.

Q35. My cover looks wrinkled after unpacking. What should I do?

This is normal—fabric relaxes within 24–48 hours after installation.
